Budgeto is a personal finance app for iPhone and iPad that helps you track expenses, income, accounts, budgets, investments, and net worth. Your privacy is built into the app's design: your financial data stays in your own private iCloud and is never sent to our servers or any third party.
The app stores the records you create — transactions, accounts, budgets, categories, investments, savings/retirement plans, net-worth items, subscriptions, and split-expense groups — together with your app preferences (currency, theme, display name).
We do not operate any server that receives, stores, or processes your financial data.
The app has no login and no user accounts. We do not collect personal information, do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and do not track you across apps or websites.
To show live prices, the app fetches public market data from third-party services: currency exchange rates, stock prices, and mutual fund NAVs. These requests contain only the symbols being looked up (e.g. a stock ticker). No personal or financial data about you is ever sent to these services.
Pro subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase validation happens on-device via Apple's StoreKit; we do not run a purchase server.
With your permission, the app schedules local notifications (budget alerts, bill and subscription reminders) on your device. These are generated on-device and are not sent through any external server.
You can edit or delete any item in the app at any time. To remove all synced data, sign out
of iCloud for the app in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud, or delete the app.
Deleting data on one device removes it from your iCloud and your other devices.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
